Error 521: Web server is down
The origin web server refused the connection, so Cloudflare could not establish an HTTP connection to the host. This typically means the server is offline, the hosting account is suspended, or a firewall is blocking requests from Cloudflare.
Resolution for the site owner:
- Confirm the origin web server is running and reachable on ports 80 and 443.
- Allow Cloudflare's IP ranges through your firewall and hosting control panel.
- Check that security software (mod_security, fail2ban, rate limiting) is not dropping Cloudflare's connections.
- Verify your DNS A/AAAA records point to the correct origin IP address.
